Friends,

Welcome to our website, and thank you for your interest in the Live Free™ band!

Live Free™ is led by James Mayer and managed through his company, Live Free Music Group, LLC. James is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He is also an entrepreneur with an MBA from The Wharton School who has founded and managed several successful energy businesses.

James writes most of Live Free’s music and performs many (and often all) of the vocal and instrumental parts. Guest artists are also featured on some songs, with their contributions noted in the track information available through the INFO link for each song.

Our Mission

At the heart of Live Free is a simple belief: America is at its best when people are free to pursue their dreams, build something of their own, take responsibility for their lives, and use their talents to make a positive difference.

Through our original music, videos, merchandise and outreach, Live Free seeks to celebrate and advance the timeless values that have helped make America unique and great — freedom, opportunity, individual achievement, free enterprise, creativity, personal responsibility, and the forces of good. In God We Trust!

These values belong to all of us. They transcend political parties and differences of opinion. Our goal is not to tell people what to think, but to inspire people to think, dream, create, achieve and contribute.

Music has a powerful ability to bring people together, cross boundaries and shape culture. We want to use that power to create music that is uplifting, meaningful and inspiring — music that encourages people to make the most of their God-given talents and to leave the world a little better than they found it.

We believe that each person can make a difference. And when millions of people choose to pursue their dreams, help others, build businesses, create art, solve problems and stand for what is good, the collective impact can be extraordinary.

Be Part of It

Live Free Music Group is supported by a growing team of creative, technical and marketing associates, along with passionate volunteers and supporters who believe in the power of music to influence culture in a positive way.

If these ideas resonate with you, we invite you to become part of the Live Free community. Whether you participate creatively, help spread the music, support our work, or simply share a song with someone who needs to hear it, you can be part of something bigger than yourself.

Please visit the JOIN THE CAUSE tab to learn more about how you can become involved.

Our hope is that Live Free music will entertain you, inspire you and perhaps encourage you to pursue a dream, overcome an obstacle, help someone else, or simply make a positive difference in the world around you.

I hope you enjoy our music, videos, merchandise and our mission. We would love to hear from you. Your thoughts and ideas are welcomed and valued.

You can reach me at James.Mayer@LiveFreeBand.com, and I will do my best to respond.

Yours in Liberty,

James Mayer
